Update as to why we are/have been out of stock on many models. There are two reasons.  The first one is that under normal conditions it takes around 45 days from when you submit an order for the factory to complete the order and have it ready to ship.  It then takes around 30-40 days for a shipment to get to us via sea freight.  The Lithium pack market for drones has exploded in the past 2 years and this year there is even higher demand.  This is due to the Ukraine war and how drones have now changed the landscape of modern warfare. This is creating a huge demand for drone packs from militaries across the world. The factories in China that make RC cells are now doing huge amounts of drone packs which is very lucrative for them.   Customers like SMC are now faced with huge delays as production is fully booked.  Some of our orders placed in early December took 90-110 days to produce.  New orders we placed in March have not been able to fit into the production schedule as of August the 13th.

The second reason is that SMC has demand that keeps growing so orders we placed 8 months ago were not big enough to cover the rate of demand we have now.  We are increasing our order sizes but due to the production delays this will take sometime.  If we would be selling generic Lipo cells/packs we could use other factories but all the SMC packs are made with cells to our specifications and performance criteria.  This makes it very hard to use a different factory as there are not many factories who have the knowledge to make high performance cells.  Even if we would be able to use a new factory it would take a minimum of 12 months to be sure the cells they produce for us have the proper performance specs and are reliable.  The factory we currently use is expanding to try and fix the prodcution delays and we hope that at the end of this year/early next year production time will be back to normal.   Thanks for all our loyal customers and new customers and we hope things will be back to normal sooner than later.
